Pag

The island of Pag, one of the largest Croatian islands, will captivate you with its rich tradition, history and culture, as well as its unique Mediterranean nature.

It gives you countless opportunities for sightseeing trips and excursions to numerous small picturesque villages, sheltered coves and beaches for those who value solitude in unspoilt nature.

It is widely famous for its cuisine specialties, particularly for the lamb from Pag and Pag sheep cheese which gets its special aroma from various aromatic plants that sheep graze on Pag's rocky terrain.

Also, seafood specialties are something not to miss.

The town of Pag is well known for the salt pans, where salt is still extracted in a traditional way, as well as the Pag laces, which are still made in small streets of the old town of Pag.

Beaches

The island of Pag is the fifth largest island in the Adriatic Sea and its well-indented coastline is the longest in the Adriatic. It is 270 kilometres long, full of bays, coves, capes and beaches.

Novalja is famous for its beautiful and long sand beaches. Beaches Zrće, Caska and Trinćel are stretching to the north.

Beach Zrće is the most famous, not only because of its extraordinary beauty, but because of its numerous amenities and discotheques, offering entertainment 24 hours a day.

It is connected to Novalja throughout summer with a small shuttle bus.

Zrće was given a Blue flag, together with well tended and equipped beach Trinćel, situated close to Stara Novalja.

The most well known beaches on the southern side of the island are the main beach of the town of Novalja, Vrtić and Straško beach, situated in the autocamp Straško, with a part of the beach reserved for naturists (FKK), then Gajac and Babe, the warmest and most shallow beach, situated very near to our holiday apartments.
