Sin City celebrates 25 years of Pride this year from April 24-May 4. Locals will enjoy lots of low key events like art shows, picnics, and a gay skate night, while glitz-seekers can sip and twirl at the Pride parties circulating the gay clubs in town.
Fittingly, Vegas’ pride parade happens on Friday night—glittering lights mandatory!

LGBT travelers take note: IGLTA, the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association, is holding a Travel Trade Show on Saturday at the Vegas Pride festival this year, where you’ll learn about exciting gay vacation destinations, LGBT resorts & tour companies, and more.

New York GLBT Expo

2008 marks the 15th anniversary of the immensely popular GLBT Expo in New York City, April 5-6, 2008. If you live in the Tri-State area, head over to the Jacob Javits Convention Center and be prepared to be overwhelmed by all things GAY!
Wedding planners, travel companies, hotels, resorts, record labels, charitable organizations and much much more will be there to show you their wares, not to mention thousands of sexy gay men, lesbians, dykes, trannies and everyone in between; in short, all those who make NYC the gay place to be!

Girls Girls Girls!

Grab your bikini or your board shorts, don’t forget the sunscreen, and point yourself towards Palm Springs, CA, for the annual Girl Bar Dinah Shore Week, April 2-6, 2008. Not just a weekend anymore, this premier Lesbian event draws thousands of the hottest women from across the world for 5 days of pool parties, dance parties, comedy, cocktails, and FUN!
Events include the Wet & Wild pool party, Funny Girlz comedy show, the White Party on Friday night, plus live performances from Belinda Carlisle, both solo and with her rockin’ girl band from the 80s, the Go-Gos! Winter Party Festival Miami

Launched in 1994 as a one-time charity dance event on the sands of beautiful South Beach, Winter Party Festival has evolved into a six-day festival benefiting the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community on the national and local levels. Over 10,000 guests from all over the United States and abroad attend at least one of the 20 events - including music, fashion, art, comedy and more — that take place in Miami and Miami Beach.
The Festival climaxes with the Winter Party Beach Party, a dance event on the sands of South Beach that draws a crowd of more than 5,500 revelers. The 15th Annual Beach Party will be the centerpiece of the 2008 Winter Party Festival.
No matter where your interests lie, the Festival offers something for you. Winter Party Festival - it’s MUCH more than a day at the beach.

Midsumma Melbourne
